Literature Text

Hermione pranced (there really was no other word for what she did) down the stairs of the girl's dormitories, fingering the end of the silk scarf that was hanging over her shoulder.

Due to the earliness of the morning, she expected the common room to be empty, with everyone down at breakfast. She was surprised to see that it was packed, with students milling around and chatting with their friends.

A few people glanced her way as she went by, and they in turn nudged their friends, pointing her out. She was the center of attention in the common room within ten seconds. Two people, however, weren't paying attention to the rest of the common room, deep in discussion as they were.

It was these two people who Hermione took an interest in, and she moseyed over to them, sitting down in the chair next to them. There was an arithmancy textbook lying abandoned on one of the tables beside her, so she opened it to a random  page and started reading.

It took Harry and Ron a good six minutes to finally noticed that someone was sitting next to them. Ron's jaw dropped as he took in Hermione's appearance, but Harry merely looked shocked. "'Mione, is that you?" he asked, his voice almost trembling in disbelief.

Hermione looked up. "Well, if it wasn't me, would I be holding this textbook in my lap?" she asked gesturing to the book. "I mean, honestly. Who else do you know that reads textbooks for fun?"

Harry's eyes lit up in a smile, and he laughed, but Ron continued to look as if something heavy had clubbed him over the head.

"So, why is the common room so packed?" Hermione asked casually, returning her attention the book in her lap and idly turning a page.

Harry shrugged, even though he knew that she probably couldn't see it. "Dunno. Breakfast is still going, though, if you want to get something to eat."

Hermione smiled secretly. "I think I'll do that, thanks." She shut the book and set it aside. Ron was clearly too shocked to take advantage of the moment and offer to walk her down to the Great Hall.

So Hermione climbed out of the portrait hole, grinning when she heard talk erupt in the common room after she left. There were several boys wondering if she was available, which made her giggle.

Strutting down the halls as if she owned the place, Hermione thought back on recent events. Particularly her blind date with Draco Malfoy.

It certainly wasn't what she was expecting. Malfoy had actually been a gentleman, and had been polite. And that kiss...it made her head spin.

Whilst she was thinking these thoughts, she didn't pay attention to her surroundings, and ran into someone.

"Oh, God, sorry!" Hermione said automatically. She looked up to see who she had run into, then started blushing like crazy when she recognized the platinum blonde hair and the familiar smirk.

"Well, Granger," he said, eyeing her up and down. Hermione knew that if her face were radiating actual heat, then there would be steam in the air. "What's with the ensemble?"

Hermione's mind floundered for a response, and came up blank. "Um...just thought that it would be time for a change." The oldest excuse in the book, of course that would be the one to slip from her lips. She cringed, and waited for his response.

He arched an eyebrow."Well, I think that I like this change." He leaned over, his arm snaking around Hermione's waist and his mouth coming close to her ear. "And if anyone asks, you're mine."

Then he straightened up and walked past her, his hand brushing against her ass as he passed. Hermione turned around and stared back at him in disbelief, then turned around and continued down to the Great Hall, smirking slightly.

All of this had occured because of one small date. A blind one, one might note.
Yeah, the final part of my Dramione Blind Date series. It turned out to be a three-shot. I thought that I would end this one on this note, partially because I'm too lazy to continue it, and beause I've got quite a lot on my plate for DA as it is. So...yeah.

I noticed that i had done this quite a while back, and I thought that I would have to finish it. So...the final chapter everyone!
